Righty, going for a bit of an indy electro crossover post for this one. Firstly a lovely remix by Chromeo of Vampire Weekend’s ‘The Kids Don’t Stand A Chance’. Gotta say this is one of the best projects Chromeo has worked on for ages (maybe ever?? Just putting it out there!). Not a dancefloor banger but a great tune all the same! Secondly is the Database remix of Metronomy’s ‘Radio Ladio’ which is a dancefloor banger, prepare for foot stomping, head banging action on the drop just after 2.30! Wonkey

I had been saving AC Slater’s Banger to blow the Bartman, over at Electrometro, out the water when he thought he had done an amazing post but seeing as how he has not done anything for ages…..I can’t wait any longer! Its not a new track by any means, i have had it a couple of years now but for me, it offers everthing an electro banger should have, wormy baseline/robot voices/lyrics about clubs and DJs/half time into double time drops/daft punk style breakdowns and instant likeability! One of my favourite electro tunes of all time.

The other banger of a tune for this post is the Steve Aoki remix of Autoerotique’s Gladiator, this is going to be massive on the electro dancefloors. The bitrate is a bit low, apologies, but the fully mastered version is not finished yet, though i have slipped it into a few sets recently without noticable reduction in sound quality! Wonkey

Guilty of being useless with the blog recently yes but we’ve been loving electro and been busy with our new night, Digital Love. We’re now finished until September but keep a look out for us around the South West over the summer. It may be Bonkers but its rather good.  Still in keeping with the Dizzee feel this track, co produced by Armand Van Helden, has a real nice dance orientated bounce going on. No doubt this one will be a hit in clubs everywhere.
